Postdoctoral Positions in Center for Retrovirus Research
Applications are invited for NIH-funded postdoctoral positions at the Ohio State University. The major focus of our research is host innate immunity to viral infection as well as viral pathogenesis, with particular interest inretroviruses (HIV), influenza A virus (IAV), Zika virus (ZIKV), and Ebola virus (EBOV). We are also interested in innate sensing of viral infections, includingcGAS-mediated sensing and restriction.
Highly motivated individuals with strong background in virology, cell biology, and innate immunity are encouraged to apply. We are especially seeking candidates who have skill and experience in innate sensing and immunity, viral entry, pathogenesis and cell-cell transmission. Recently graduated PhDs are especially encouraged to apply. The selected candidates will work on several cellular factors, including TIMs, IFITMs and SERINCs, which modulate viral infection and host immunity.
